Feeling stuck in a “prison” of circumstances despite your gifts? Discover the power of “cupbearers” to unlock your next season.

“Drive pt.2” draws on the biblical story of Joseph in prison to illustrate how gifted individuals can find themselves in situations where their qualifications, talents, and hard work seem to count for nothing.
The sermon metaphorically describes these situations as “prisons” – be it a job, business, city, or even a country – where a different “currency” is needed for advancement. Joseph, despite his innocence and abilities, realized he needed to leverage a different asset: relationship.
He wisely interpreted the dreams of the chief cupbearer and chief baker, asking the cupbearer to “remember me” when restored to Pharaoh’s service. The message emphasizes that sometimes, the difference between captivity and breakthrough, or poverty and wealth, is a “cupbearer” – someone God strategically places in your life who has access to a world you don’t. It calls for humility to acknowledge limitations, to be careful in how we treat others (as they might be our divinely appointed helper), and to proactively reach out to these “cupbearers.” The sermon concludes with a powerful prayer for a “prison break,” for divine connections, for favor with those in authority, and for devices to become instruments of good news, leading to overdue rewards and testimonies.
